Shelf Life: 12 months from packing 
Storage: Store in airtight container in cool, dry place. Add 2-3 dry red chilies, bay leaves, or neem leaves to prevent weevils. Do not refrigerate. Keep away from moisture. Soak 6-8 hours before cooking or grinding.
Note: Natural variation in seed size and color intensity. Black skin may leave slight color in soak water — normal. Takes longer to cook than split dal. Pressure cook 5-6 whistles for soft texture. Do not use if you see webbing or musty smell.
